The Yangts-River flows eastwards,
Carrying away all of the heroes through the ages.
At Chi Bi, the old battle-field in the three-states era,
Zhou yu was known as one of the best generals.
Stones ran through the sky covered by the clouds,
Rapid and huge waves broke on the banks,
Forming heavy water-drops like snow.
Scenes of the country were just like pictures ,
Many heroes shown.

Thinking of Zhou Yu at that age,
having married Xiao Qiao,
He looked handsome and ambitious.
With Kong Ming fanning himself with a feather fan and wearing scholar’s clothes,
The enemy’s war-boats were at once ruined by fires,
while the two men were talking, laughing and drinking.
Traveling in the old states in my mind,
I should be laughed at because of my deep feelings andMy rapid aging.
Man’s life is short like a dream,
So I ought to give a glass of wine to the Moon and the River.
