How long I could see the Moon rising and falling

How long I could see the Moon rising and falling,
I ask God , offering a glass of wine ,
I wonder which year tonight is in the imperial palace of the heavens.
I want to ride the wind into the heavens,
But being afraid the Palace is too high and cold to stand, though it is so nice,
I have to admire myself alone and seem to prefer to living in the world.

Turning back to the red house, going into the living room, and still unable to sleep,
I shouldn’t hate and complain for things are not always to the queen’s taste.
Everybody has come through vicissitudes of life and
the Moon goes through hidden、fine、round and imperfect,
Which have been difficult to be made perfect from of old
I wish we could keep our friendship forever and
Enjoy the Moon together even if we are a thousand miles apart.
